On the 28th of May 2008 Mr. Paul Jacqaut from the French company SD3 visited Sectron’s head office in Sofia. During the meeting a future cooperation between both companies has been discussed. SD3 is a part of the French consortium DEF (Détection Electronique Française), established in 1958 and consisting of 15 Fire Detection and Extinguishing companies grouping about 1 000 employees in total. SD3 has in its structure 4 factories, manufacturing different product lines in the fire detection. During the meeting the French company presented its history, organization and products, including gas detectors which Sectron finds very interesting. SD3 has been partner in big projects, as the delivery and putting into operation of the fire detection system for EUROTUNNEL, connecting France and Great Britain, as well as large business centers and places of social importance – the nuclear power station EDF (France), the airport Charles de Gaulle (Paris), a business center in Dubai and the Science and Industry Center (France). We hope that the Sectron’s clients will welcome soon the placement of products of SD3 on the Bulgarian market.
