Gebrüder Weiss in Sofia now operates from its new logistics base in the village of Mussachevo near Elin Pelin, since the beginning of January. Austrian logistic company have built 6,000 sq. m logistics warehouses and 1880 sq. m for cross-docking operations in the first stage. The office section has a total area of 1300 sq. m. The facility has convenient parking for cars and trucks. The logistics warehouse has four high-rise halls with standard equipment. One of the warehouse provided storage for dangerous goods (ADR). The total investment is in the range of EUR 8-9 million, including the cost of the land. The area of the plot is 5.7 ha. The logistics center uses a standard GW design adapted for the specifics in Bulgaria.
In October 2014, Sectron has been selected as main contractor for the security systems of the new logistics center. For a short period Sectron’s team deliver and integrated comprehensive security solution for the new center of Gebruder weiss.
Integrated security systems for the new Gebruder weiss logistics center include:
- More than 130pcs. of 3Mpx Hikvision IP cameras for video surveillance of the perimeter and loading ramps, integrated into the interface of Milestone Xprotect. Each item and its movement in the logistics center can be traced in the IP cameras video surveillance records;
- More than 1,2 km of perimeter security with sensor cable provides early warning of intruders;
- All security systems signals - CCTV, alarm systems, perimeter security and access control are combined in the interface of intelligent security system Inner Range;
