On the 11th of June 2008 our head office in Sofia was visited by Mr. Petry Hitches – Business Development Manager and Mr. Jaroslav Gibas – Sales Support Engineer, both of them working for the leading in the security field Japan company OPTEX. They acquaninted us with the history and the structure of the company established in year 1979. OPTEX has 950 employees. The company motto was to implement modern technologies into human life. At that time, infrared technology was used in advanced medical systems and in military applications only. Development of various applications of infrared technology resulted in creation of devices, used in various aspects of our everyday life. Today, infrared – based products for office and home application, manufacturing processes, energy saving, environment monitoring, safety and security devices – are all stable components of OPTEX offer to its customers.
Constantly improved, high quality products have rewarded the company with growing customers confidence in products and system solutions, marked with the blue OPTEX logo. Globalisation and world – wide economy made OPTEX products recognised for their perfection in most of the countries of the world. World – wide activities necessitated the establishment of a number of subsidiary offices in Poland, France, UK and Ireland, Netherland, North and South America, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China, besides the Headquarters in Japan.
Mr. Jaroslav Gibas presented the forthcoming to be released on the market outdoor laser scan detector REDSCAN LS-3060. It can detect a moving object’ s size, speed and distance from the detector and process that information with a unique algorithm, which results in high – reliability detection of people with minimal false alarms. The detector can be mounted vertically or horizontally according to the application and site conditions.
It is impending also to be released in production by the end of this year series of outdoor Synthesized Intelligent PIRs REDWALL SIP-3020, SIP-4010 и SIP-404. They have an intelligent detection system that uses data on the ambient environment, such as temperature and illuminance conditions, to automatically adjust the sensitivity.
