Hikvision's new DS-TCG406-E LPR camera provides high-accuracy vehicle number recognition and is an ideal solution for automating vehicle access through entry-exit points (barriers, gates, parking entrances, etc.). The camera features an advanced next-generation AI recognition algorithm that ensures efficient operation in all conditions thanks to the 1/1.8’’ sensor with a resolution of 4 megapixels and intelligent hybrid IR LED lighting. The DS-TCG406-E can be seamlessly integrated into the HikCentral software platform or used in stand-alone mode to open a barrier/gate when a “white“ list. The camera has a TF card slot with a capacity of up to 1TB and a “white“/“black“ list with a capacity of up to 100 000 registration numbers. In addition, the camera has a built-in Wiegand interface, through which it can be integrated into an access control system and work as an ID reader for identification and admission. The integration possibilities are also expanded with the available 3 alarm inputs, an alarm output, 2 relay outputs for barrier control and an RS485 interface. As an interesting additional functionality, DS-TCG406-E also offers more built-in AI smart functions such as vehicle type, color and brand classification.
