A technical seminar dedicated to ACTi Corporation’s products was held On October 14th 2008 in “Vitosha” park-hotel in Sofia. Acti Corporation – a leading manufacturer of IP cameras and surveillance systems – chose its main Bulgarian distributor “Sectron” Ltd. as partner for the event. The seminar was led by Mr. Ting Chang (ACTi Sales Account Manager) and Ms. Elsa Cheng (ACTi Territory Sales Manager) as representatives of the Taiwanese company and it was supported by Sectron’s CCTV department. The participants had the opportunity to learn more about the latest novelties in the IP video surveillance industry as well as to see the newest megapixel cameras, products and technologies which led ACTi Corporation to Top 4 of the IP CCTV manufacturers of the world.
Live video demonstration was prepared on site using various ACTi products including ACM-1231; ACM-1432; ACM-4200; ACM-5601; ACM-7411; ACD-2100. Live remote link was also established with the popular high-speed PTZ dome camera CAM-6610 installed in downtown Sofia as well as with the new megapixel Day/Night camera ACM-5611 installed in Sectron’s main office. The participants received useful product materials and information and they also learned more about the features of the professional IP video software package ACTi NVR. In addition they were briefed about the possibilities for system integration between ACTi products and other third party software and hardware platforms.
The event consolidated further the excellent business cooperation between ACTi and Sectron as its leading partner for the Bulgarian market. It also expanded the future collaboration prospect by the promotion of the Taiwanese IP camera brand among IT companies and system integrators in Bulgaria.
